Apply for grant to support attendance on approved apprenticeships in England, Scotland, and Wales.
 
Visit the nation-specific apprenticeship grant pages of the CITB website to view which courses are eligible for this grant along with other rules including when you should submit an application.
 
For completed apprenticeships, you may be able to apply for achievement grant.
 
Before you start
 
You’ll need:
  • the apprentice’s name, date of birth, National Insurance number, and date they joined the employer
  • evidence that you can upload with your application that shows your apprentice is registered onto an approved apprenticeship programme.

Acceptable evidence can be:
  • from the college or provider, either on headed paper or in an email (from an email address ending .ac.uk),
  • a screenshot from the Digital Apprenticeship Service, or
  • an Apprenticeship Learning Agreement.

All evidence must show the following information:
  • full name of the learner
  • full apprenticeship title
  • the course start date

If your evidence is an email, ensure you first save the email to your device so you can upload it against the application.
